Summer’s over, but our reading hangover isn’t. This week it’s round one of our most UNHINGED reads of the year.
First up is The Wicked Sea by Jordan Stephanie Gray. It has a mermaid, a warlock with Pegasus wings sewn on his back, flying pirate ships, sentient trees and a trip to Atlantis. It has everything but flying monkeys. Was it too much? We get honest about that.
Then there’s At First Spite by Olivia Dade. A dumped bride moves into a 6-foot-wide spite house. A bakery blasts monster porn before opening. And a doctor tries to win her back with homemade chicken man porn. Yes, really. It’s unhinged, it’s hilarious, and we couldn’t put it down.
