Heading into July I have quite the line up of books to read, which means you may have some great reviews to read!
Audible
I have approx 30 books to listen to on Audible so I just picked my top 5 that I’ll end up listening to this upcoming month.
The exception by Vi Keeland. I have enjoyed almost every single book by her so this was an automatic buy when it came out as a new book and of course it has my top 2 favourite narrators so how do I not? I’m partially into this one already. I can tell you it will get a full spoiler review. It grabbed me right from the start.
** Edited to add: NOPE. No review incoming. There are certain topics I will not discuss which are key plot points. All I will say is I did not love this one. The main character seems to have zero self worth. so I guess if you are into that-
Crooked by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward
Again same reason as above. Love Andi Arndt as a narrator. I’ll be honest, I have zero fucking clue what this one is about. It was just an auto buy as soon as i saw the authors.
The way I hate him by Meghan Quinn
I have read quite a few books by her. CJ recommended this book. I have listened to a few in this series, but they seem to keep going and going. The books are long, one series ties into another and another and I find it hard to keep it all straight, but I got this one on an Audible book sale, so here we are!
**EDITED TO ADD: CJ is mad at me for saying she recommended it to me. I was wrong, i thought she recommended it to me, but we both agree 👎👎 on this book, so she would never do that to me! Must have just been the book sale and poor judgement on this one!
The night we met by Abby Jimnez
I have listened to all of her other audiobooks and enjoyed most of them. She has a few that drone on far too long. People with trauma, understandable trauma, the just can’t seem to let go of it, and by 3/4 of the book you are thinking-TIME TO MOVE THE FUCK ON, SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT LADY!!!. I had pre-ordered this one, but i have put it off because I have been strongly on one side or the other for this author.
Never have I ever by Lauren Blakely
This is book 2 in the always satisfied series. I just finished listening to satisfaction guaranteed last week so I’m excited to listen to book 2. Book 1 was really well written and read very well.

My holds on Libby. I’ll share these, but… they may be July reads… or they may not. You’ll see the hold times on some of them and understand, I can’t complain too much because they are rented from the library for free and they help feed my book addiction.. so?
Bound by Ali hazelwood
I have listened to all her STEM books and while some drive me CRAZY I overall liked them so I wanted to try this one.
The true love experiment by Cristina Lauren
I’ve been about 65/35 on her books so far. Some I’ve liked, less I have very disliked. I’ve had this one on hold since jaunty so I’m hoping i love it. The honeymoon crashers was pretty cute- hoping this gives those vibes.
A not so meet cute by Meghan Quinn
Hold since June of 2025. Cj says its funny, her books have been hit and miss for me. Often they have funny parts, but I can sometimes feel like they drag on just too long as mentioned above.
Ice breaker by Hannah grace. I like the other 2 books in this series. I have had this on hold since January.. but I’m 3rd in line so…. 23 ish weeks from now maybe I’ll listen to it.. how does Libby math? yes 3rd in line and 23 weeks from now IS Libby math…
Something wilder by Cristina Lauren
Hold since November 2025.. Same as above for this author. I’m interested but not enough to buy the title.

Edge of truth and deception island by Brynn Kelly
I’m pretty new to her books so now sure how this will play out, but i loved You only die twice, Some like it lethal, and a murder to remember which were pretty fun books. I love the punny-ness of the titles.
Melt for him and consumed by you by Lauren Blakely. Just because they are written by Lauren, I have consumed so many of her book that they are just automatically added to my list.
Beach rivals by Georgie Tillney– I have no clue why on this one… I saw it in the bookstore and the cover intrigued me so, here we are!
Chirp
This list is just too long to get into! I just keep buying books. I have had chirp for about 1 year. I have yet to listen to a book on there, but I own over 50 books! So I have tons of catching up to do!
