The Opening
A Vegas wedding on a whim. A billionaire who thinks his schedule is everyone else’s problem. A country singer who has spent her whole life being underestimated. Three books of miscommunication, missed phone calls, and the same two word goodbye note written twice. And somehow by the end of it all, one of the most genuinely satisfying character transformations I’ve read in a romance trilogy.
Yes, it’s worth reading. All three, back to back.
What Is the Dirty Billionaire Trilogy?
Holly Wicks wins a make-me-a-star TV competition and gets a record deal that slowly suffocates her. Creighton Karas is a crass, domineering billionaire who marries a woman on New Year’s Eve because he can and because something about her got under his skin in a way he didn’t expect. What starts as a marriage of convenience and mutual interest becomes something neither of them planned for and both of them are too broken and too proud to admit.
These books must be read in order. Each one picks up exactly where the last one ended and the emotional payoff of book three only works if you’ve lived through books one and two first.
The Books

The setup. Holly is being used as a beard by her label, gets drunk with a legendary country artist on Christmas Eve, and ends up at a bar where Creighton Karas tells a harassing man to get his hands off his wife. They sleep together. He publishes a missed connection. She shows up on New Year’s Eve. They go to Vegas. By the next morning the press is asking how long they’d been sneaking around behind JC’s back. Book one establishes who both of these people are, where they came from, and exactly how different their default settings are. It ends with Holly walking out.
Dirty Pleasures — Book 2 | ⭐ 4.1/5 | Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The transformation begins. Creighton realizes he forgot about her tour, gets on a jet, sits in the general audience like any other person, and watches her perform for the first time. He joins the tour. He works on the bus. He buys her a private bus so she has her own space. He hires her security. He is present in a way book one Creighton absolutely was not. By the end of this book he has quietly, completely fallen for a woman he married on a whim and neither of them can say it out loud. It ends with the same two word note on the same notepad.
Dirty Together — Book 3 | ⭐ 4.8/5 | Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The payoff. Holly runs toward him for the first time instead of away. She walks into his boardroom mid-crisis and says honey, you called. She stops him from firing his best friend and makes both of them deal with it like adults. He comes after her in Kentucky, sits in a bowling alley crowd, and waits. He tells her she is the most important thing in his life. He buys her Lucky Charms because he heard her mention them in a song. They finally say what they mean. It ends with artist of the year, a baby, a honeymoon, and Holly running her own label the right way.
What Makes This Trilogy Worth Reading
The transformation. Creighton Karas starts this series as a man who genuinely believes his schedule takes priority over everyone else’s and that buying things solves problems. By book three he is on a tour bus working remotely, buying Lucky Charms because he listened to all of her songs, and telling his shareholders he bought a record label in a rush because he loved his wife. That journey from book one to book three is the whole point and it earns every page it takes to get there.
Holly is also worth paying attention to. She spends most of this trilogy underestimating herself and underestimating his feelings, convinced that a marriage that started the way theirs did couldn’t possibly become something real. Watching her stop running and walk into that boardroom is one of the best moments in the whole series.
What to Know Going In
Read them back to back. These are not books you can take a break between because each one ends on a cliffhanger and the emotional continuity matters. Clear your schedule for a weekend and go.
The mafia dad in book three comes out of nowhere and is extremely convenient as a plot device. Three books of carefully built story and suddenly there is a biological father in the mob who can make a shareholder lawsuit disappear overnight. It’s a little too tidy. The rest of book three is strong enough that it doesn’t ruin anything but it is worth knowing going in so it doesn’t knock you sideways.

Fans of spicy contemporary romance who don’t mind a slow emotional burn alongside the heat.
